Scout troops have often occupied strange HQs. During the 1950s, the 2nd Whitstable had its own unique and historic base
Over the years, we have featured a number of photographs of the Second Whitstable Sea Scouts... AND we have received requests to find a permanent home for the pictures. Well, here it is and you can add your own photos and memories. Place a message on our Visitors Book first and we will explain the next step.
We would like to extend special thanks to Jock Harnett for getting us
started with a range of early photos. As many will know, Jock has been
involved with the Sea Scout band for many years and his dad, Shirley
Harnett, was a stalwart of the unit for more than half a century.
